MIT Holding Inc. was established in 1990 as Medical Infusion Technologies (MIT), a privately owned corporation known throughout the southeast for providing quality and professional services in the healthcare industry. Original owners of the company consisted of William Parker, Arlene Wilhelm and several professional silent partners. Growth was quickly achieved through service contracts with local hospitals that established a history of professionalism and excellence in the healthcare industry.
Medical Infusion Technologies grew with the addition of new divisions to its healthcare service line such as home medical equipment supply, an ambulatory center and a compounding pharmacy located on premises. Offering 24/7 service, MIT became a leader in infusion services locally and throughout Georgia serving physicians, hospitals, clinics and pharmacies.
In 2005, William Parker began the process of taking the company public and during this time, MIT Holding Inc. was formed as the corporate entity that directs all company operations. Today, the ultimate goal of MIT Holding, Inc. is to empower clients and patients by providing the necessary products, quality service and knowledge needed in order to improve their overall quality of life.
